Episode 1 was posted January 5th, 2019. In it, the Beacon hatches and fulfils his first prophecy.
Plot[]
An amber colored orb floats down in the ocean with Kappa emerging from it. A voice welcomes the little mer into existence and describes itself as the god of the surface and describes Kappa as a beacon, a light for others.
As he explores the sea, a golden line pulls Kappa to a city of mer people where he is identified as the beacon. Brought to Moorish Castle, Kappa is introduced to the queen whose people have been waiting over a century for his arrival.
As the mer people speak of their prophecy, the golden line leads Kappa to a plant, which then produces multiple blue colored flowers. However the people's prophecy stated they would be yellow.
The people start asking whether something has gone wrong with the prophecy. The questioning proves too much for Kappa, who is unable to respond to what went wrong aside from becoming tearful. Swimming away, Kappa says that he does not want to be the beacon anymore.
